I am sad to report the death of Newt Heisley, the designer of the POW/MIA flag. In all the years since it was designed, he NEVER EVER took any pay for this creation. He was a kind & gentle man of Great character. He is gone... but not forgotten. He was 88 years old, and there will be a public ceremony on June 14th, I believe here in Colorado Springs, but I will post later to be sure.
